It is with great sadness that I have to report that Herman Cember passed away on March 6, 2009 after a long illness.

Thank you all for the great response we have received on the fourth edition! We are still working on updating the solutions manual, but progress has been slow. Herman has been very ill, but I am hopeful he will recover soon.

Do not forget to sign up for the CHP exam this July, if you have not taken it yet. The deadline is January 15th!

Colorado State University will soon start the online CHP review class that it hosts annually. EDLL 2005 uses the fourth edition for homework and study. Almost everyone agrees that it is the best text to use when studying for the CHP exam. Admissions are being accepted through January 23, 2009, but late admissions will be accepted!

Welcome to the Introduction to Health Physics Blog. The book is scheduled for release on July 28th. We are working on updating the Solutions Manual. We are also working on getting the ordering options set up on this site so you can order here.
